Hi guys, some of you have brought it to my attention that I haven't wrote anything on my blog in a while. I am so sorry. We have had so many exciting things going on at The Kilted Buffalo. Many of you know this already, but we opened our second location in Mooresville! We are growing and with that so many changes. We welcome new stylist in the Birkdale salon, Danielle and Lauren, as Summer, Taylor and Candice moved to our new location. There we welcome new stylist Amy! We also introduced The Kilted Buffalo app to our customers, making it easier for you to book appointments and earn rewards in the salon and pub!
Even with all of that exciting stuff going on, nothing is more important than you, our client. I attended the Charlotte Hair Show in October, all the buzz being....facial hair and cool, sporty looking cuts! I feel very confident with the talented, experienced team of stylist we employ at both locations, you will receive a great cut! Trendy cuts, or a traditional one, we can get that accomplished through building a client /stylist relationship.
Guys, with the holidays quickly approaching, I recommend you go on our app and schedule your next appointment. Booking ahead, earlier in the work week will help you avoid the busy weekends! We always take walk ins, but I hate to see our clients wait...even though cold beer makes it much more bearable! Have a wonderful holiday, enjoy your family and friends, and thank you for everything you do for me and The Kilted Buffalo!
Have you notice how many men are sporting facial hair these days? I actually thought it was a personal preference, or fad, until now!
If you are considering a beard you might want to know what I have learned.....Men sporting a beard are showing less risk to skin cancer on the face, anti-aging benefits because of the moisture a beard provides, less skin acne that shaving sensitive skin can cause, and not sure of this one, better parenting skills? Wow, who knew!!!
Never liked the fact my son has sported a beard for years...but, his wife loves it, and I have to admit,he is a great Daddy!
However, the same information put out there on beards (America Now, Jan. 28, 2014) mentioned, if you are going to sport a beard, it is very important to keep it clean and groomed, or bacteria can also be an issue. Stop in the salon soon and let us trim that beard for you. For you clean cut guys...stop in and get that hot lather shave, pretty sure I won't be giving my son a shave real soon! Happy grooming!
