Hey guys...Jill, Michelle and myself just attended a 2 day hair show in Charlotte! It's funny how attending a forum by Geno Stampara (A well-known hair stylist/speaker/motivator/consultant in our industry) can put things in perspective for you! One of the ah-ha moments for me was when he asked, "What would you do if you still had every client you had since day one?" I feel very fortunate to have every client I have today, but what would life be like if I had everyone from day one? Not only would I be incredibly busy, but probably a little bit more financially stable too! Lol! The point Geno was trying to make, was...I need to treat everyone of my clients with the importance/service/respect/kndness that you deserve everytime I cut your hair so you always want to come back. You have a choice of places and stylist to cut your hair, and you chose me! You need to feel that experience you felt the first time you came to see me for your haicut, everytime! It should never be about my problems...(even though alot of you have become my friends:) So....my promise to you is to give you the service, and attention and the best haircut I possibly can everytime you come to see me! I appreciate each and everyone of you and thank you for all the support you give me and The Kilted Buffalo!!!You can hear more from Geno Stampora by going to his website www.genostampora.com or like him on facebook..he is so wise and funny!! You will love him!
We always talk about the value of our haircuts, and why they costs what they costs...these training sessions and educational seminars/forums are just one more reason why we are able to give you the best haircut experience at an incredible value..tell your friends about us! See you soon!
Appointment vs walking in? Guys this is a tough one! When we started out on this adventure we figured more of you would be walking in for your haircuts versus making an appointment. Lately that doesn't seem to be the case. We wanted the appointment option in place for the busy guy on a tight schedule, the lunch hour guy that can't enjoy a cold frosty beer while he is waiting...(the bossman frowns on drinking on the job... no sense of humor!) However, if you have visited The Kilted Buffalo recentlly, you might have encountered a wait because of the increase in traffic.
We apologise for this inconvenience, but wanted to assure you that we will only schedule one appointment every half hour, leaving a stylist or two, depending on the day, for walk-ins. Most days, the wait will average only 20-30 minutes tops..!
If you are asking yourself, "Self, should I make an appointment?" That is completely up to you....We want you to have that option, but we still want to be that guys place where you can run in and get a cut and not have to plan on an appointment. Look at it this way....it's a good problem if you have to have a cold frosty beer and relax for a little while, have the chance to make some new friends, procrastinate on yardwork and still get a great haircut in the end!
If you need an appointment, you can call ahead or the day before, and we will do our best to accomodate you too!Like a great restaurant, a great haircut is also worth the wait!
