What really matters to you when you go to get a haircut? I have asked my clients that exact question," why did you go and what brought you back to me?" The answer is always the same, they come back because of consistency and service. What those places out there offer for $11.99 or whatever the going special might be, is speed.
How do you really think they stay in business???? They have got to do alot of turnover in a small amount of time to pay their staff and overhead. Now I am not saying that you can't get a good haircut, what I am saying is for what you save in cash, you might not always get consistency and service.
You will not get a 10 minute haircut at The Kilted Buffalo, we can do them...just opt not too. We want the haircut to be an experience for you, that is why we named it The Haircut Experience! An approximately twenty five minute service that includes a shampoo and hot towel for the face, a neck shave and neck rub... all of which our clients love, and say, it's why they come to The Kilted Buffalo! It is your choice, you do get what you pay for, and you are deserve a great, consistent haircut experience everytime!
"Does this haircut make my forehead look big?"...Seriously! I love when my clients ask me, "Jen, what can I do to hide the fact that I am losing my hair?" I say and laugh...."We can light a candle!"
Guys, "embrace the forehead!" I am not trying to lighten the importance of this aging dilema, but I also want them to feel confident at where they are at this time of their life. Advice I can and do give is, don't try to cover it with a comb-over, leaving the hair too long on top. or a 70's style to recapture your youth! Trust me, shorter, textured and layered styles, will fluff your hair and make it appear fuller.
There are products out there on the market, prescription and over the counter, that can slow the process down as long as the hair follicle is still active and alive...Propecia or Minoxidil are a few of the prescriptions options, Nioxin and American Crew are salon products that have shown to be successful. Unfortunately, most of these products have to be used on-going, or hairloss will return.
Male pattern baldness, is genetic and can start as early as your teens. Approximately half of men in their 40's will experience hair loss...thinning of the hair is hair loss. I know it can be alarming and a huge adjustment for some men. Again, if it bothers you, the support you receive from home is very important. So girls, don't make your guy feel self-conscience about losing his hair, re-enforce the fact that he is still as attractive and sexy as the day you met! Remember you are going to need his support when you go through MENOPAUSE!!!!!!!
Guys, come in and see me, or any of the our talented stylist if you need a new look...It is our job to make you look great and feel confident in your own skin.
